Hope For Families Adoption Home study agency has four wonderful programs to help you realize your dream of completing your family. You can adopt waiting children who are living in foster homes right here in the United States through our lowest cost program, the Interstate Adoption Program. There are over 114,000 children in America who long to be part of a loving family and together we can meet some Foster child’s need for a permanent home. Hope For Families Adoption Home study agency is also designed to assist you in your own facilitation of adoption - should you have already located an eligible child or birth mother yourself. In addition, Hope For Families works directly with a partner orphanage in Haiti and we can help facilitate Haitian adoptions.

Hope For Haiti's Orphans

Hope For Haiti's Orphans

Hope for Haiti's Orphans is a ministry to positively impact the orphan situation in Haiti. We have partnered with an orphanage in the Jacmel region of Haiti that represents three locations on the island. Prior to, and in the aftermath of the earthquake, we have been active in pushing for constructive change to bring relief to the orphan plight in Haiti. We actively work to support the orphanages there and we are the United States representative agency of several of the orphanages located there.

Adoptions: As specialists in international adoptions, it is our pleasure to provide you with information regarding our Haitian Adoption Program. Hope For Families Haitian adoption program is specifically designed for the adoption of children in Haiti, as it takes into account the legal and logistical requirements of such an adoption. We are a non-profit Child Placing Agency (#100009079) licensed in the State of Florida and regulated by the Florida Department of Children and Families. We provide international adoption services, adoption home studies, adoption education, adoption counseling, and post-placement interview services.

If you desire adoption, we will personally do our best to make your adoption a pleasant experience and fulfill your dream of quickly becoming a family! Our Haitian Adoption Program is a newly re-opened adoption opportunity that we hope will meet your request for children. The children from Haiti are of African American heritage and children from 6 months to 16 years are available, including sibling sets. The children are generally in good health and our orphanages are well maintained. Haiti orphanages generally want Christians to adopt their children as they hold strong religious beliefs.
Haitian requirements limit adopting people to being 35 years old or more with no children in their home, and in addition married couples must be married for 10 years or more, but a presidential waiver may be requested to modify these rules.

Hope For Birth Mothers

Hope For Birth Mothers

We know how you are feeling - afraid, lonely, scared, angry, hurt, confused, troubled, desperate, and totally in despair as you face an unplanned pregnancy. You may feel no one really understands your hurt. You need someone to give you comfort and understanding in this pregnancy.

Maybe you have been rejected by your boyfriend or your family because you are pregnant.

Maybe one more pregnancy is too much to handle.Your pregnancy matters and you matter in the big picture - but right now you need to look at your options.

Your pregnancy, although a crisis, does not have to end in tragedy as you seek the right thing to do. We know you want to make a responsible choice.

At Hope For Families, we help you find peace and security in regards to decisions that will affect you and your baby.

We will help you in your pregnancy.

We will counsel you in your crisis. This is what we do each day of the week.

We are professional counselors that help crisis pregnancy situations evolve into positive outcomes.

You can make the right choice for your baby in the middle of a crisis pregnancy. Crisis pregnancy often brings a baby into your life when you are least able to properly care for another person. You may be starting a career, you may be economically damaged, or emotionally not ready to care for a new baby.

What ever the reason, choosing adoption for your baby will ensure that the baby has the loving family and start in life that you may have always wanted for yourself. Your crisis pregnancy can be a gift - not only to the baby, but to a loving family unable to bear children of their own.

You choose the family from the comfort of our office as we help you look through many eligible family profiles of families that are working with Hope For Families to adopt. Later on, you will meet them and make sure that your choice is the right one for the baby.

Our desire is to encourage people in their relationship with the Lord, to assist them with practical tools through the Bible and the best of the behavioral sciences to handle the stresses of life, and to create excitement and provide education about adoptions.  The program includes highlights of Dr. Brown's creative writings, dynamic testimony, crucial information about the adoption process, and practical help for relational, emotional, and situational problems in life.

Hope For Foster Children

Foster Children for Adoption
Adoption is finally affordable through our Hope For Foster Children Interstate Adoption Program!
This website will provide you with detailed information on our Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program. This program is designed as our
lowest cost option on child adoption programs allowing you to begin the Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program process for only $3,000* (three thousand dollars). Click Here for cost estimates. It facilitates the adoption of younger Foster children (post infant). These Foster children are available through the Interstate Foster Care system. These children are eligible to be adopted out of the States' child foster care system. Parental rights have become terminated in these adoptions. They can be adopted at lower costs because of recently enacted laws that allow easier facilitation of their adoption.

In this new adoption program offered by Hope For Families, you receive a full disclosure , by law, of the specific background information on each foster child, as well as all health and medical information concerning the foster child. You can adopt through this Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program with full disclosure about your Foster child and have the peace of mind that you are completing your family with that special Foster child of your choice!

Interstate adoption assists needy Foster children without parents find permanent loving families!

Special Adoption Program exclusively for Florida Families!

There are over 500,000 children in the US foster system and approximately 114,000 children are currently available for adoption.  You can begin to search for Foster children through 125 links we will provide for you, but you will need to register for the Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program information first in order to utilize Hope for Families as your receiving state agency. There are strict rules designed to protect the safety of Foster children that restrict the release of information to private citizens, and the various Florida and United States state agencies will only give you the child’s information, and consider you for the Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program if you are working with a local licensed adoption agency. Hope For Families, facilitates the adoption of Foster children who are usually 4 years and older, and sibling groups are available with no additional fees. These Foster children are living in a foster home in a state outside of Florida and are eligible to be adopted out of that States' foster care system. Parental rights have already been terminated in these Interstate Foster Children Adoption Programs and so all placements across a state line are for permanent child adoptions according to federal regulations. Foster Children National Adoption statistics can be viewed here for your information.

Adoption Process…

The first step is to have us complete your Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program home study, take a parenting course, along with signing our Interstate Adoption Review Contract so that you can begin receiving detailed information about the Foster children you select within the foster system in other states outside of Florida.   The Interstate Compact and State where the child lives will require you to have a licensed agency as your receiving agency so that we can assist you in receiving, assessing and reviewing the confidential information about the Foster children you are interested in adopting and coordinate with the Sending Agency for child placement.

Available Children…

Foster children may have a wide and diverse variety of ethnicity including Caucasian, Hispanic, Afro-American, Asian or bi-racial combinations. There are slightly more male Foster children than female Foster children in foster care. Adopting parents can select the gender of the Foster child or Foster children they intend to adopt. The Foster children available for the Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program are usually 4 years of age and older, and infants never seem to be placed out of the sending state. Adopting parents can select the age range for the child or children they want to adopt. Sibling groups are most common, and to keep the family intact, sometimes younger Foster children are available when the older Foster siblings are being adopted. Adopting parents can adopt several related Foster children at the same time with no extra adoption fee.

Most children who have been in foster care have experienced some type of abandonment, neglect or abuse, and so may have special needs. Often these dear children have attachment, emotional or behavioral issues, learning or developmental delays, and suffered post traumatic stress. Less often there are physical or health issues but full disclosure of all reports is provided by the sending state before matching or selection of adopting families. Closed or semi-open Foster care adoptions are typical as the parents rights have been terminated, so that the biological parents have no identifiable data on the adopting parents and cannot interfere or ever challenge the adoption placement. In this new Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program offered by Hope For Families, you receive by law, a full disclosure of the specific background information on each Foster child, as well as all health and medical information concerning the Foster child. You can adopt through this program with a peace of mind knowing you have all the available information about the adoptive child you are choosing before the Foster child is placed in your home. First explore this website as it will answer most of you questions about the Interstate Foster Children Adoption Program process. Then phone the founders of Hope for Families, Dr. Ken or Lynn Brown during the day or early evening at 772-538-4112 if you have any other questions or desire to begin an adoption.

Birth Mother Support for Crisis Pregnancies
Here is a striking Fact: In the state of Florida alone, for girls aged 15 - 19 in 2000, over 48,440 girls became pregnant - most with an unplanned pregnancy. The result was about a 50/50 choice between birth or abortion.*

It is our vision to be able to provide counseling at no cost to women faced with unplanned or unwanted pregnancies for area community centers. We have access to a staff of licensed counselors that wish to be a support and healing influence during the traumatic time surrounding a crisis pregnancy.

Orphanage support ministries in developing countries

To initiate, support and maintain orphanages, family ministries, benevolent NGO/agencies, missions and missionaries in both America and foreign missions; and specifically to feed the hungry, provide fresh water for drought areas, set up self supporting micro businesses and micro loans for the disadvantaged, and help by all means children and families who are in desperate need throughout the world.

Currently, Hope For Families Charity, Inc is assisting orphanage work within the country of Haiti. Our desire is to support the orphanage work there through tangible and financial means. We have personally travelled to Jacmel, Port Au Prince, and north to Gonaives and the situation there is critical.

Clinical Experience and Training for those interested in a Christian Counseling career

To establish and carry on a ministry for training and developing Christian counseling where students may obtain a wide spectrum of clinical experience and education in “people-helping” ministries and counseling from first aid counseling to professional development and to provide for the delivery and holding of lectures, study groups, expeditions, classes, conferences, and clinical supervision all designed directly or indirectly to advance the course of such Christian education and development in counseling including providing clinical supervision for students in Master Degree Counseling programs or Master’s degree graduates to facilitate State mental health licensure.

Drinking Water Access to the impoverished

1 billion people on our planet do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s one in six of us. That’s why every cent of these funds will go toward building sustainable water solutions like freshwater wells, rainwater catchments and sand filters as well as sea water desalination. These solutions can transform communities – they bring people together, offering improved health, a better quality of life and hope for a better future.

Medical Facilities for outreach in developing countries

Develop permanent centers that provide ongoing solutions for economic, social, spiritual, and developmental needs. We intend to build centers that focus on children such as orphans and those in need. The centers can be medical, orphanage, training and socio economic development in nature and should be designed to reach those in the area with long term answers to their spiritual and physical needs.

Senior Care and Advocacy for those that cannot afford it

To ensure the adequate care of financially limited seniors within our community by supporting them with in-home visits, advocacy for medical issues, transportation to and from medical appointments and ensure proper nutrition through grocery shopping and in home meal preparation.
In this way, we hope to enhance the quality of life for our seniors and allow them to live as long as possible within their own homes and surroundings before utilizing community living options.
